I have to give glory to God for anything in me that is good.

When you visit Beckie’s blog you get a real sense of calm…at least I did. I don’t want to sound crazy but Christian’s have a way to bring calm with their faith and it is clear here at Beckie’s blog. Her first post that I stumbled upon was the Meme about “Why I Blog“. It is great to see the reasons people blog and it gives a real insight into the minds of bloggers and why they choose to dedicate time to this way of expression. Nice job Beckie and keep on blogging!

You can be critiqued too at Critique My Blog. Go ahead~you know you want too.

I just saw this video and it just about blew me away! Talk about feeling insignificant! Good thing I’m significant in my Father’s eyes.

Technology ~ ARGGGGGG

You can’t live with it and you can’t live without it!!! Today is my turn for problems! We need the latest version of McAfee anti-virus so I went online and purchased it. Everything went through fine until I tried to download it. It seems that you have to use Internet Explorer for the download to work.

We haven’t been able to use I.E. for months. I don’t know what’s wrong with it and every time I’ve downloaded the latest version, it still won’t work. OK. I can live with that, but if there are programs out there that HAVE to have I.E. to work, I’m sunk. The problem seems to be in a script error. I’ve downloaded and run the latest Microsoft script repair program to no avail.

I spent four hours (yes that FOUR HOURS) trying to get this to work. I finally got through to someone with McAfee that gave me a refund. So now I’m off to the store to get the same program. How silly of me to think I could save some time by ordering and downloading on line.

More Changes!

Yes, I know, will I ever stop???? Probably not. I’ve been reading in several places that eventually everyone who uses Blogger will have to switch to the New Blogger. I, for one, was not looking forward to this because I just learned how to get around fairly well in the html ~ with New Blogger it’s different. Yes, I made the change this morning. Really smart people have been creating hacks for this so maybe it won’t be so difficult for me.

One big problem I have is getting Mr. Linky to work in the New Blogger so if anyone has any suggestions, PLEASE let me know.

I’m headed over to My Photo Blog to post for Wordless Wednesday. Oh no…I’ll have to change that one too.

My mood:

Let me introduce…

to you our youngest daughter Colleen! I’ve been remiss (as mom’s sometimes are) and haven’t put her picture up. SOOOOOOOO, here’s our “baby.”

Notes

As if you didn’t already know, it’s Valentine’s Day WEEK! Yep, I’ve decided that it should be a week and not just one day! I mean, after all, Christmas lasts a month and love is just as important! Love is what gave us Christmas~the celebration of our Savior’s birth!

Iris, from Sting My Heart, is posting this week on Love and Marriage. Today’s post Becoming a Better Wife has some excellent advice. She shares from her heart and her experience.

Nominees have been announced for the Hidden Treasure 2007 Blog Awards at Every Day Mommy, so be sure to head over there a pick your favs! Voting ends FRIDAY, Feb. 16 (that’s THIS Friday) at 11:59 p.m., so don’t delay. Be sure to vote for the name of the post and NOT the name of the blog. Jules even has a sample ballot for an example. She’s thought of everything!

I made the most awesome discovery last week. A bible toolbar for your web browser! Sometimes when I’m blogging and need to make reference to a scripture, my Bible isn’t always handy, but this toolbar is right up there! You can get it a Bible Gateway.

Just have to share this picture of daughter and granddaughter…two beauties!

I saw this at Sting My Heart and wanted to participate. I wasn’t surprised at the results:

You Would Choose Love

Money may buy a little happiness, but not the happiness of true love.
You rather have a true soulmate than a private jet.
And while many people may claim they would choose love too…
You’re one of the few who would really do it.

the internet again. I just love doing this and seeing what’s out there.

Today, being Saturday Scavenger Photo Hunt, I found the coolest website that features pictures of Virginia…from a different part of the state. We live in the Shenandoah Valley in the mountains and I found someone who lives down near Williamsburg and posts her pictures here at Deep Red Style. Go check out her pics for a different perspective of our state.

AND THEN, I found this place called GlassGiant where you can do all kinds of fun stuff with pictures~and other things. This is one of my favorite photos of Hubby and Grammy’s Girl’s hands. So I created this:

Now I’m feeling:
