The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song. Psm. 28:7
I am thankful for Christian music and those that perform it. Music has always been an important part of my life and now that I am a believer, praise and worship music is so meaningful.
I’m also thankful for all the believers I’ve “met” through blogging. It’s so amazing to see God work in these lives and for that I give Him praise.
I’m thankful that our youngest daughter got her GED. She has struggled through school and this has been a great accomplishment!
I’m thankful for all the free stuff on the internet. Free bibles, free Christian graphics, free WordPress and free Blogger, Christian Women Online, bible studies, devotions. If all of these weren’t free, I, for one, wouldn’t be here.
I’m thankful for Hubby’s job. He has been with the same company for over 31 years. I’m thankful they provide medical insurance and retirement. This past year, he had perfect attendance and they gave him money for us to go out to dinner! Wooooo Hooooo!
I’m thankful that we are planning a vacation this Spring. We will be taking a week to head up to New York state to see the country~outside the City~and visit some family for a couple of days. It will be our first real vacation in several years.
What are you thankful for? If you’d like to join us, please visit Iris at Sting My Heart and play along.

What an awesome list, bless you.
Nice to see you here, Beckie

That is great that your daughter got her GED! How fun to go to New York and stay in the country–that will be a fun trip!
I’m thankful for Christian music too! I can listen with my son without worry.
Blessings!

I love your list. 31 years at the same location is quite an accomplishment. Congrats to your daughter!!
Great list! I also love free stuff and praise music. I’m also hoping to get to upstate NY. I have some extended family there, and it really is beautiful.
Hi Beckie-
Can I just guve you a big AMEN to the free stuff on the web and all the stuff we learn from fellow Chistian bloggers? I too have felt my faith grow since finding this online body of belivers. What a blessing it truly is! And what peace you must have over your daughter getting her GED. I also struggled with school and my brother did as well. Both of us went to jr. college and did end up graduating from 4 year schools. I did it straight after highschool but my brother took his time. Now he is 27, has graduated and is doing well as a mortgage consultant.
Blessings to you Beckie-
Jennifer

CWO? Wahoo!
I just about joined Thankful Thursday this week. I have much to be thankful for, but I didn’t get my post ready in time.
Maybe next week.
The vacation sounds awesome!
What a GREAT list, Beckie!! I know that we are blessed beyond belief with all the great music that is out there for us to listen to….music is also VERY IMPORTANT to me. In fact, when we chose a new church, that was at the top of my list…followed by the preaching.
Aren’t all the resources overwhelming sometimes? I forget to be thankful for all we have available to us via the web.
Blessings.
